Vacation Planning
Not mine, unfortunately, but Starr’s.
Starr, Skye and their friend Sookie (along with Sookie’s boyfriend, C) are planning a summer trip.
Sookie has taken charge of planning. Starr and I absolutely loved it when we received a spread sheet detailing the trip last night. Since I copied and pasted from a spread sheet, the columns are a little messed up, but you can get the idea of all of the hard work and research Sookie has put in to planning this trip. Her efforts are appreciated by all. She has planned every detail, including movies that they will watch…movies that are tied to the locations that they are visiting!
Sookie, I love you. You made my week! Please help Starr keep track of her camera and cell phone during the trip. Thanks!!
I edited the schedule to remove travel dates and personal information, emphasis is mine:

What is this vacation of which you speak?
i think that i totally wish someone would plan me a trip… yep that would be the greatest!! thanks for visiting me and my blog… if you dont mind i think i’ll stick around for a bit!!
Lucky kids! I LOVE D.C. I’ve only been there once, but it was amazing! Make sure they have comfortable walking shoes!
Impressive.
Any chance they are looking for a mamaneena to join in on the trip!?
I forgot to mention that Starr is paying for the trip herself. She hasn’t turned to me and said “um, Mom…”, not once!
Bossy: I am personally unfamiliar with the concept, but my daughter seems to be a big fan…?!? I will ask her.
Randi: Me too (the trip)…and ditto (sticking around your blog).
JAM: I went to DC by myself when I was Starr’s age. I really enjoyed it. I think it would have been a lot more fun with friends!!!!
Neena: Ha. I will ask!
I want this girl on my next vacation planning! OH.MY.WORD. You should be a VERY proud mama and paying her own way, too. Ya done good, mom. Currently waiting for Bo to arrive from four days down in L.A. She had a ball and, surprisingly, we did, too!
OH! Would you look at that! There’s my post! I’m a happy woman.
What a great itinerary. I have lived and visited DC many times and LOVE it, and they are also going to places I have been to many times in PA since I lived there most of my life. Lancaster is beautiful and Hershey is fun. She did a great job! I love National Treasure. If they want a name to search for on the Vietnam Memorial, my brother is there. Robin B Miller. Panel 30W Line 91. I hope they have an awesome trip!
[...] the record, the DC/Pennsylvania trip was a success. They followed their itinerary with ease, seeing all of the things they wanted too with little to no stress. I will have to hire [...]
