I Realized Why
Nah, not that.
I realized why I haven’t been to the bookstore in so very long. I stopped by yesterday to pick up that 29 Gifts book that I mentioned in my last post. I’d forgotten just how much I love it there, all the books seem to be calling my name. I want them all. I want to spend my time browsing, finding new things, being reminded of the classics, soaking up the energy. I love it.
I don’t get that same feeling at the library. You have to know what you want at the library. Find it, check out, leave. I am not drawn in, I am not called.
I know now that have been resisting the bookstore because I’ve been watching my pennies. The bookstore is just to tempting!!
It’s like my own personal crack.

You too?!?! I cannot help myself. There is something about the virgin books, the untouched, freshly printed, unread novels, that completely captivate me! I must have them ALL. No, Libraries are not the same. The smell is off, the books are used, and sometimes musty and stained, and you have to be pin quiet. Not the same at all.
Oh, I could (and have) spend hours in a good book store. One of my favorite place to be. They are so full of possibilities.
I agree. It’s not the same at all! I love the bookstore!
Life may disappoint but books never do. Ok, some DO but not many!!
