Promises…
Starr: “Mom, after class today I will need to pick up my laundry and get a ride back to my apartment. After you drop me off, I will not see you for the whole weekend.”
Me: “You won’t see me? Why? Are you going out of town?”
Starr: “Nope, I just won’t see you. I am not going to need you, I am going to spend the whole weekend at my apartment.”
Me: “Okay.”
Starr: “Aren’t you going to say anything?”
Me: “Yay!”
Starr: “Thought so!!”
Seriously! No taxi service, no extra laundry, no extra dishes in the sink, no sorority errands, no junk accumulating on the coffee table! Yay! A weekend with no expectations sounds like a vacation!

8:45 pm and she just left! We even went to a movie this afternoon. We apparently just don’t know how to break up with each other!! I love it.
Did I mention that the class she was referring to ended at 11:00 AM??
Aren’t you guys the cutest! LOL
*smiles*
I hope you are going to enjoy it for all it’s worth!
I ended up with only Saturday by myself, she came over early Sunday to “do homework”! Being internet deprived at her apartment is contributing to her presence here in my home!
No expectations, oh how I dream of an entire weekend of NO EXPECTATIONS from anyone! I hope you enjoyed!
Doesn’t that sound good??
geez, i want that kind of weekend!!!!
hey girl, how have you been??
I’ve missed you!! Congrats on the good news!
Hope you enjoyed your weekend. I love reading how you two are so close…I hope I have the same relationship with my kids when they are older.
Thank you! It’s not always perfect, but I think we do have a special relationship that I treasure.
you guys are just so funny!
Ha ha! Thanks!
ooooh.. and btw- i found the layout you had for blogspot.. i’ve had my eye on it for some time, and thought i would use it when you changed… now you have, so i might do it…. love your new layout by the way
Hey, thanks! I will probably keep this one for a while. Although I’m not thrilled with the column width, I am happy with everything else so far!
