Doodling With Intent
I had never heard of Zen Doodling or Zentangle before last night when I saw it referenced on this post 17 Resources to Awaken Your Right Brain on the Abundance Blog at Marelisa Online. It’s been a long time since I picked up a pencil to draw, it’s been a long time since I made my last stained glass panel. I just haven’t been feeling very creative in the past few years. These Zen Doodles caught my eye and I just had to try it.

I gathered my supplies and made my first one! I need to learn to relax and not worry about making a mistake and just let go and let it happen, but I enjoyed what I did. My only issue was the kitten, who just had to play with the pen as I doodled.
I actually used to do something similar when I was in college, but I had forgotten all about it until I actually started drawing…memory is such a funny thing.
