Honey Lemon Tea

Posted by on November 22, 2010 in Life, Recipes, Sammy, Zeta | 7 comments

I made this jar of Lemon Honey last spring and have been using it regularly over the past week. I don’t know if it helps my cold or not, but it sure feels (smells and tastes!) nice!

I don’t remember where I first saw this recipe, if you can call it that, but I have made several jars over the past few years. I sliced 2 lemons and placed them in the jar and then I poured honey over the top until the jar was full. I keep it in the refrigerator. To use, add it, to taste, to plain hot water or hot tea. It’s good!

Sammy and Zeta were, as usual, were in the way! But they are cute doing it!

    • Luck, I guess. Or some divine force decided that I really needed them…because I really did. They have been a joy.

  2. That sounds so darn good!!! I love the way the kitties are looking at the jar!

  4. I need to make this! Then when I want to make what we call “hot honey and lemon” (boring, I know… got a better name for it?), I only have two steps instead of 3 (or 4, if you count cutting the lemon and squeezing it as two). :D

  5. Love these pictures!
