I haven’t made a secret of my love forĀ PostSecret “an ongoing community mail art project, created by Frank Warren, in which people mail their secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard. Select secrets are then posted on the PostSecret website, or used for PostSecret’s books or museum exhibits.” Every Sunday morning Frank posts a collection of secrets, some are funny, someĀ unbelievable, some that resonate with you, many that are moving and some that stop your heart for a second.
This secret was posted last weekend:
And a movement was started in an attempt to let this person know that people care. That suicide isn’t the answer. A Facebook page was created and as of this writing over 35,600 people have become fans and have left messages of support and love. I find it beautiful and moving. I hope that this person is able to connect with the message and I hope that others who are thinking about suicide see it, reconsider and chose life. You are loved.**
Sunday’s are the day that a new set of postcards are posted over at PostSecret. For those of you who are unfamiliar with PostSecret, it is an ongoing community project, created by Frank Warren, in which people mail their secrets on one side of a homemade postcard. Select secrets are then posted weekly on the PostSecret website, some are used for PostSecret’s books and museum exhibits.
The secrets are often funny, silly, touching, uplifting, sad and even tragic.
Nearly every week there is at least one secret that resonates with me in one way or another. These are the two that hit me from yesterday’s postings:
Actually, Starr and I went to the movies and ordered dinner in from the Corner Pub in our neighborhood. Interestingly, late last night Starr noticed an amazing number of relationship changes among her many friends on Facebook last night, sadly there were way more breakups than new relationships.
This is one of my favorite secrets from this year's Valentine's Day offerings
It is a beautiful day, but I don’t feel it. Hopefully tomorrow.

This is not a music blog. While it is my desire to share free and legal music here (music is a part of me), it is not my goal to critique this music.
If I have posted music, it is because I like it, and it moves me at the moment. It might match my mood, it could be on repeat, or mirror the sentiment of my post. It might be quite random, and just what I wish to share.
